Emergency Procedures in the Borough of Wanaque:
Since 9/11, both school districts and St. Francis School have been working with the Borough's Office of Emergency Management, and have established plans to act when necessary. The Police Department, First Aid Squad, Fire Department, Health Department and various Passaic County departments have been trained in appropriate response measures. While details such as shelters and evacuation routes are in place, the specific situation will dictate the response. Remain calm and follow the directions you receive.
